Incentive for the rest of the semester

Hello, all!   Can you believe we only have 19 days left of our ESL classes for this semester?  Can you believe it?   Attendance has been a little low, so we thought we would give you an incentive,(an additional reason), for being in class as much as possible.   If you can come at least 16 out of the next 19 days, starting today (Tuesday, April 2, 2013), and stay for the entire 2 hours of class, you will get a special reward!   You have to come to class to find out what it is.  We hope to see you there!

Thursday, March 28, will be a movie day

Hello, all! 
I hope you are well.  I just wanted to let you know that on Thursday, March 28 we will be watching a movie called "Who is Jesus?" at the Crossroads International Friendship House, due to the Easter Season.  In addition, there will be no classes on Monday, April 1, 2013.  (No fooling!).  I hope to see all of you on Tuesday.  Have a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Easter! 

The Week of March 18, 2013

Hello, friends,

I hope you have had a fun and safe Spring Break.  We will have regular ESL classes on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 9:00 am.  We hope to see you there.  If you need a ride, contact Tracey before 8:00 am on Monday morning.  WE will have Bible Study beginning at 11:00 am and lasting until 12:00-noon.  All are welcome to join us.   We hope to see you soon!

Have a safe Spring Break!

The Crossroads International Friendship House will be closed  the week of March 11 - March 15.  We will not have ESL classes this week.  Have a safe and fun Spring Break. 

Week of February 11, 2013

We will have Bible Study on Monday, February 11, 11:00 am - 12:00-noon.  Come practice more English while reading the Holy Bible.  All people are welcome to join us.   Tuesday, February 12, the ladies from the International Friends Group will be joining us.   They have requested that you bring a few wedding photos to share with us.  The theme will be Valentine's Day and love.  On Thursday, February 14, (Valentine's Day) we will have potluck a the Friendship House.   Bring a dish or plate of food to share with everyone.   We hope you will join us!  Please, feel free to bring a friend, too!

Announcemets and reminders for Feb. 2013

Until further notice the van will not stop at the following locations: Cedar Cove, The Polos, or College Station.  The reason is lack of interest from anyone wanting to ride the van to free ESL classes at the Friedship House.   We will continue to pick up students / friends at Parkside Apartments.  If anyone from any other location needs for the van to pick them up for classes, please contact Tracey.  She will be happy to make arrangements.   In addition, Bible Study class will begin Monday, February 4, 2013, 11:00 am - Noon.  Please, be aware that this means the van will not be able to leave the Friendship House on Monday until 12:00-noon.   We hope you will join us and look forward to seeing you soon!

No class on Thursday, January 17

Due to the Starkville School District beginning at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 17, 2013, we will not have class at the Crossroads International Friendship House.   We hope you have a safe and warm Thursday.  We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.   Have a nice weekend.
