Free ESL Classes begin

 We will have free in person ESL classes beginning, Monday, August 23, 2021 (Monday -Thursday, 9:00 - 11:00 am.  They will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 405 N. Jackson street, Starkville.  I am looking forward to seeing you soon!😊

Last day for in-person class

 Due to lack of attendance, our last day of in-person class at Calvary Baptist Church will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021. We will be teaching through Zoom during the summer. In addition our Free ESL classes will resume Monday, August 23, 2021, 9:00-11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, N. Jackson Street, Starkville, MS. 

Closed Spring Break

 The International Friendship House will take a Spring Break, March 15 -19, 2021. We will return to in person and hybrid classes on Monday, March 22, 2021. We hope to see you then!😊

Face-to-face classes to begin

 International Friendship House will begin face-to-face free ESL Classes will meet at Calvary Baptist Church, 405 N. Jackson Street, Starkville, MS on Monday, February 22, 2021. Masks are required! 

Zoom classes continue

 We will continue to have our free ESL classes on “zoom” through November 20, 2020. We hope we will have in person or face-to-face classes, again, on January 11, 2021, 9:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 405 N. Jackson Street, Starkville, MS.

Online class begins Monday, August 24, 2020

 International Friendship House will begin free online ESL classes on Monday, August 24, 2020. You need to fill out an online registration form and follow the directions to return it. You must have the free downloaded “Zoom” App to participate in most classes.  After receiving your registration sheet, we will email you the schedule with all the needed meeting ID’s and passwords you will need. We look forward to hearing from you!😊

No ESL CLASS March 23-27, 2020

Hello, all,

I hope and pray this message finds you well and healthy. Our Spring Break is extended another week. The Friendship House will not have English classes March 23 - 27, 2020.  I am missing all of you very much. I am working on a few ideas in case we continue. I would love for my international friends to suggest some thoughts and ideas. I still will be happy to video chat through Facebook Messenger or even through Skype. I plan to send an email to each student with some details.
